It’s been a couple of years now since the release of Lord Huron’s 2012 debut album Lonesome Dreams. An American indie folk band based in Los Angeles, Lord Huron created a very visionary album with this debut. You can paint a picture of each song as lead singer and founding member Ben Schneider portrays his surroundings to the listener. Still to this day, multiple songs from the album can be found making residency like appearances on my playlists.
“She Lit A Fire” needs no depiction. Listen to the lyrics and you’ll know exactly what’s going on. A really incredible record, perfect for being outdoors or on a long road trip.
