Yoke Lore – Fake You May 3, 2018 Alt (Rock), Folk, Indie, New York, Pop, Vocals Yoke Lore is the NYC-based project of multi-instrumentalist and visual artist, Adrian Galvin. Borrowing elements of folk, pop and indie-rock, Yoke Lore has established himself amongst tastemakers as a rise star and noteworthy songwriter. A former-member of Walk the Moon, Galvin first hit the ground running in 2016 with Yoke Lore’s debut EP, Far Shore, released on B3SCI Records. He quickly received praise from a variety of outlets including NYLON, Consequence of Sound, Billboard and more. In 2017, the title track of his 2017 EP, “Goodpain” reached #1 on Hype Machine, and caught fire on Spotify (racking up over 10 million plays throughout the year). Galvin will release his third EP, Absolutes, this summer. His latest single off the EP, “Fake You” explores the concept of truth, purity and breaking down barriers. Similar to his earlier records, “Fake You” features a distinctly endearing vocal, polished percussion and melodic banjo licks. A truly unique sound, his music something of a Sufjan Stevens and Grizzly Bear crossover with it’s own distinct qualities. Stream the music video for “Fake You,” below.
