Yukon Blonde are back with their new single “Get Precious” after a 2-year break. The Canadian 5-piece band has taken a more earthy and soulful approach with this new era.
The single features an eclectic bassline, groovy wah guitar chords, and slightly distorted vocals that add such a special touch to the track. What’s really captivating about this release is the Blues Rock influences with a psychedelic flair to it, and the magnetic French lines towards the end. An analogy that comes to mind when describing this particular mix, is as if The Black Keys and the early sounds of Tame Impala had a lovechild – a sound that only existed in people’s imaginations until now.
