Earlier this month, UK producer SG Lewis released his collaboration with Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaur, “Again.”
The song blends TEED’s distinct vocal in a way that sounds almost Caribou-esque. It features emotive synth-work and engaging percussive elements complemented by an epic vocal melody with swooning production technique. “Again” is a slice of melodic deep house. It’s also the first track on the Dark EP, which SG released just a few weeks ago.
Dark is the second phase of his upcoming three-part concept album Dusk, Dark, Dawn, which chronicles the trajectory of a night out through its different moods and genres and serves as a tribute to club and youth culture.
The Dusk EP, which he released earlier this year, blends elements of disco, smooth electro and funk. Whereas this release, Dark EP, explores distinctly heavier sounds.
Excited to see what the future has in store for the new producer that dominated 2018 and appears to be going full speed ahead.
