Los Angeles based artist Royal & the Serpent recently releases her third single, “Weddings & Funerals.”
On “Weddings & Funerals,” her vocal floats above somber guitar licks and dark rhythms. Striking similarities to electro-pop acts before her like Elohim and Tove Lo, her unique vocal has an original and distinctly recognizable sound.
Lyrically, the song is about not letting life pass you. “I don’t want to wait around for weddings and funerals,” she sings.
