LA-artist Marlana shares a music video for her new single “Midnight Special.”
Filmed in the empty streets of her hometown (Placerville, CA) during the 2020 pandemic, Marlana dances to the beat of “Midnight Special.” The retro influenced song features smooth funky rhythm, soulful guitar chords and soft falsetto vocals. Lyrically, the song is about a one night stand. A story about satisfying the need for sex without the attachment. Gettin in and moving on.
The song was also written alongside Jacob Summers of Avid Dancer. And is set to be apart of her debut EP, At Least I Tried which is set for release July 10th 2020 via Play Count Recordings. Stream below!
