Over the past couple years, the Florida-based group, Magic City Hippies have really begun to make a name for themselves.
After being selected by Hippo Campus in 2016 to play on their national tour, the group has been slotted to play a handful of festivals like Bonnaroo, Electric Forest, Austin City Limits, McDowell Mountain Music Festival and more.
Their unique ability to craft funky original instrumentation coupled with an engaging live performance has really set them apart from just another blogosphere band.
“Body Like a Weapon,” the group’s latest single, features a bouncing bass line, captivating vocal production, undeniably groovy guitar licks and contagious rhythm.
Impressive to see the progress the band has made in just a couple of years.
