This song really goes against the fabric of what this blog traditionally stands for, but in saying so I feel entitled to post about this track. A large portion of this blog’s purpose is to release and share undiscovered music, so from that perspective this track is a fit and once again I feel entitled to do so. The LA-based Texas native Chelsea Lankes recently released her track ‘Secret’ to her soundcloud account. Needless to say this track completely caught me off guard. Chelsea sounds like a Top 40 vocalist you would hear on the radio (think Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, but uniquely her own style). This relatively undiscovered LA singer/songwriter is beaming with creativity and an undeniable talent. If I were a record producer I would jump on this track, fast. A heads up to any of those reading.
