Buruks is the post-rock project of the Atlanta-based independent artist, Brooks Palin.
Brooks is a multi-instrumentalist that creates instrumental post-rock music. It sounds something like Explosions In The Sky meets This Will Destroy You or The American Dollar. It’s cinematic, melodic and at its core post-rock.
His latest release, “Dive,” is an uplifting instrumental track that features ‘Tycho-esque’ harmonic guitar work and a punchy rhythmic drum beat.
It’s an impressive release from the solo artist, showcasing his abilities as both a songwriter and as a producer.
