Crazy to think about but I’ve actually been playing Body Language’s song Social Studies (Plastic Plates’ remix that is) out almost every time I play for four years now and I still can’t get sick of it! Where does time go?! I was happy today to come across another Body Language song that is just a perfect example of the genre ‘Daytime Disco.’ The continuous groove with supple tones of a strong synth bass, piercing uplifts of synths, and of course what’s a pool party without those perfectly eq’d bongos? I love tracks like this because it’s purpose is not to grab your attention and have you rushing to the dance floor. It’s just a pleasant groove and the perfect amount of sound that you need to converse with friends over cocktails.
