Best Frenz is the brainchild of Joywave frontman Daniel Armbruster and Sir Sly instrumentalist Jason Suwito. As the COVID-19 pandemic swept the globe, the duo’s main musical projects faced the same uncertainty as thousands of other touring acts. Drawing their own silver-lining, the alternative-electronic outfit recorded their debut EP 30% off as a long-distance tandem.
The lead single from the 4-track project, “Ugly Ending” marked the genesis of a new dawn for both artists. Combining the musical genius of two celebrated composers, this rocktronic single is worth the replay.
