Hailing from New York, argonaut&wasp is headed by Theo and Trey whos inspirations trickle through the decades: ‘70s fashion, ‘80s synth, and ‘90s culture. They describe themselves as an “amalgamation of indie vibes, alternative edge, electro dance, and funk grooves”.
“(We’re) Alive” is the band’s latest release. The indie electro track features funky guitar riffs, and carries mellow harmonies throughout the track before phasing out with a memorable groovy electro synth at the end of the song.
Describing it as “an anthem for a better tomorrow”, the single embodies the excitement around growth, the idea of what’s to come, and longing for connection after the current state of isolation.
