A few weeks ago I stumbled across an older Breakbot track I had never heard. And let me start by saying Breakbot, the French Producer/DJ, is the real deal. He has been at it for sometime and influenced by the likes of Daft Punk, Justice and the entire Ed Banger Crew. In many respects he has help pioneer the french house, nu-disco, yacht pop sound of recent years.
In a few weeks Breakbot is gearing up to play CRSSD Music Festival in San Diego March 14-15th. In honor of the groove/nu-disco master himself and the upcoming west coast DJ set, here is a less known and greatly under appreciated hip-hop inspired cut, Easy Fraction.
