Cadeaux is a must-hear indie-pop duo from LA. The brainchild of California natives Briana Lane and Darian Zahedi, the tandem’s debut single “Bad” is impossible to duplicate.
Although Lane is one half of girl-power outfit Winslow and Zahedi lends his musical genius to CRX (Nick Valensi of The Strokes’ side project), the two creators bring their respective talents to life with the inception of Cadeaux.
“Bad” is blissfully coherent, blending pop textures with markedly moody vocals. Anchored by a digital beat accented with graceful piano riffs, this vogue single possesses an air of originality.
