“DORRIGO” is a fun uplifting single inspired by budding romance and the anxiety of a long distance relationship. The indie pop tune is highlighted by bright Vampire Weekend-esque vocals, warm sunny guitar melodies and slightly funky rhythmic tendencies.
The clever and introspective music video showcases Roberto losing a boxing match to a cellphone personifying the failed relationship. Based on a real life encounter with an Australian lover that did not work out. This is an experience that many on the dating scene can relate to. At times, love stinks.
