Earlier this month, the Russian outfit Pompeya released their new 4-track pop/funk EP, Domino. It’s an easy listen and features tasteful production by the legendary French house producer Fred Falke.
The second track off Domino, “Somebody Else,” is a perfect summertime indie electro-pop track. It’s bright, upbeat and features a super catchy guitar riff. The vocals are reminiscent of Cut Copy and the instrumentation has a Miami Horror vibe to it.
“Somebody Else” is also a cross-over tune that could fall into a few different genres categories, and will likely cater to a variety of listeners. It’s worth a listen. Stream for yourself below.
