Today, brand new Swedish duo Vargas & Lagola has released their debut single “Rolling Stone.”
Vargas & Lagola consists of members Salem Al Fakir and Vincent Pontare who have gone from successful solo artists to Grammy-winning songwriters and producers. Together they have written and produced songs for the likes of Seinabo Sey, Katy Perry, Avicii, Axwell & Ingrosso and Madonna.
“Rolling Stone” is a bold and catchy pop track with an immediate familiarity. The song rides a stomping synth hook and sing-along lyrics that plant Vargas & Lagola firmly as top new contenders in the indie-pop game.
The video, released today, follows in line with the track’s funky fresh vibe, showcasing creatively edited cuts from the original 1970s Soul Train U.S. television show. If the song wasn’t enough, this is sure to get you on your feet and dancing.
