Foster The People – Helena Beat (Zee Remix)

Borrowing stylistic aspects of Breakbot’s french house production, Zee, the South Korean producer really delivers on this tasteful remix of Foster The People’s “Helena Beat.”

I am hesitant to even classify this as house music, I think “future french house” would be an appropriate term. The bass line pops, the groove is very present and the entire vibe of the song is very laidback while floating at a half-time rhythm.

With out a doubt a very original and interesting approach. Worth a listen. Stream below, free download here.
