Austin-based, LA-raised brother duo, The Lagoons have released a new feel good indie pop single “Give It Up For Love.”
Comprised of Ryan and Joey Selan, the two brothers grew up playing trumpet and saxophone in their high school’s Jazz Band and a clear jazz-influence can be heard in their music.
Their latest release, “Give It Up For Love” is a palatable yacht rock sounding track featuring groovy instrumentation, soft falsetto vocals and saxophone in the second half. The tasteful genre bending tune is mixed with space to breathe while adhering to the rhythmic uptempo tendencies of dance music. It’s quite a cool single.
