Close Counters recently released their DJ Edit of Roy Ayers‘ song “Take Me To The Ballgame.”
The song features tightly produced production, funky synthesizers and a sing-a-long vocal hook.
Comprise of former neighbors, Finn Rees and Allan McConnell, the two are known for their electrifying fusion of electronic, hip-hop and jazz. Their music is backed by impressive melodies, signature dense synths, driving basslines and well-rounded production.
The Tasmanian duo first popped on to our radar with their contagious downtempo future-beat “Fluctuate,” which sounds sort of like a Disclosure and Flume crossover.
Since their recent beginnings, Close Counters have supported the likes of What So Not, Peking Duk, Tkay Maidza and Shaggy.
