Kyson is the project of Berlin-based and Australian-born artist Jian Kellett Liew. The multi-talented producer and vocalist recently shared his new single “After the Rain.”
On the single, Kyson delivers swooning vocal soundscapes while harnessing his ability to craft brilliant synth tones and captivating melodies. In some aspects, the synth work on “After The Rain” sounds like that of an early Flume. However, what makes Kyson standout are his dynamic dream-like vocal arrangements that draw more comparably to that of Rhye, Bon Iver or James Vincent McMorrow.
Kyson also co-wrote and art directed the visually aesthic video for “After The Rain” which you can stream below.
