JONAH is a Berlin-based alt-influenced dream-pop project comprised of duo, Angelo Mammone (vocals) and Christian Steenken (guitar).
The two create highly emotional and melodic music, as showcased in their latest single, “Wicked Fever.”
“Wicked Fever” is a blueprint for the ins and outs of the duo’s imagination; the ups and downs of their hearts. Narrated like a dream and cerebral drift, the song continues on through out much of it’s duration suggesting that there something extraordinary is about to happen.
“The song is like that moment before a summer storm,” says front man Angelo Mammone, “when the air is aquiver with anticipation.”
The video was shot in the streets of Hong Kong and was written as a love story between two very different worlds. A young woman skates the urban canyons of Hong Kong, as her mind drifts to someone out of her reach. “Almost like a wicked, feverish dream,” the band describes.
