The San Diego based alternative indie rock band Inspired & The Sleep recently released a new track, “In My Labyrinth.”
The group is comprised of singer-songwriter Max Greenhalgh, multi-instrumentalist Bryce Outcault and revolving lineup of local musicians. Their sound features smooth bass lines, whimsical vocals and falls somewhere between As Tall As Lions, The Antlers and Vampire Weekend.
‘In My Labyrinth Mind,’ is up for free download on Bandcamp here and you can stream a handful of their other tunes on Soundcloud here.

The band’s frontman, Max Greenhalgh, also took the time to put together an exclusive Spotify playlist for Casablanca Sunset. This is an excellent hour-long list of indie pop tunes. Definitely worth checking out and gives a deeper insight into what it is that influences the band’s sound. Max describes the list as “Indie Sing-Along Selects: a selection of some of my favorite croonings over the years.” Enjoy.
