The vocalist and powerful songstress, CLAY released her new single “Orange,” earlier this month.
“Orange” features her soulful vocal timbre and an endearing keyboard melody accompanied by a bumping rhythm arrangement. Originally the song was written as a response to Donald Trump and the current political climate. Then according to Clay, the meaning of the song eventually took on additional meanings. “the song was meant to be sung with two middle fingers up and a big smile on your face,” she adds.
It’s an impressive tune that shines a light on CLAY’s impressive vocal range and raw songwriting abilties.
