Similar to previous releases from Casius, “Different Love” features a pitched and filtered vocal sample atop groovy rhythm and lush layered instrumentation that includes synths, strings, guitar and horns. Collectively the funky and rhythmic arrangement delivers a nostalgic and slightly retro sounding track that is certain to get your head bobbing.
“Different Love” borrows aspects of hip-hop crate digging (finding the perfect sample) and cleverly blends warm saturated melodies with rhythmic electronic house production. We are fans of Casius’ continued abilities to release one impressive song after another. And as a somewhat mysterious individual, Casius exudes skill and his propensity as both a musician, artist and producer are not to be overlooked.
