Dutch electronic producer ReauBeau has solved the future bass algorithm. Today, he premieres his new single “You” featuring Yenna on the Casablanca Sunset blog ahead of its official release tomorrow, November 6th.

In a space that is often oversaturated with redundant rhythms, ReauBeau dresses his melodies up in a broad spectrum of subgenres, making it no surprise that his talents have garnered praise from Tiësto himself.

Featuring the lush, vivacious, and elegant vocal work of Yenna, ReauBeau’s latest single “YOU” is a certified hit. Rays of house-like cadences shine through the electro-pop foundations of ReauBeau’s latest offring, paving a road that is defined by intermingling melodies. Tethered to catchy hooks and a vivacious bassline, “YOU” is a mirage of invigorating soundscapes. A rolling beat topples underneath the layers of feminine vocal prose, as the song crescendos into its dance-floor-ready drops. Composed with a stylish groove and flow, “YOU” is nothing short of enticing.

5 Songs Listening To Right Now:

In honor of the premiere, ReauBeau has selected 5 songs that he is listening to right now that he finds influential to his sound and helped shape the impressive release featuring Yenna. Distilling inspiration from Sofi Tukker’s percussive work on “Best Friend,” Flume’s undeniable groove on “Say It,” Mura Masa’s iconic cut “Firefly,” and the contrasting yet complementary sounds of Drake and Thundercat, “YOU” is a luxurious amalgamation of influence. Stream and read about his notable influences below.

Sofi TukkerBest Friend

I’m always on the lookout for what’s happening production-wise out there. This track I found interesting right away. The use of percussion is super impressive. I also found the vocals really fun. So many different hooks that were unlike anything else that was going on at the time.

Flume — Say It

If I ever need to write a topline with a vocalist, I always go to this track for inspiration. The combination of the groove and the melodies really get into my bones. It’s one of those tracks that would be impossible to try and replicate though. A one of a kind. I’ve never met Flume, but hear he’s a super nice dude! Would be cool to meet him.

Mura Masa — Firefly

Do you ever find tracks that you wish you made first? Just fucking love this. It’s iconic. Would be down for meeting Mura Masa too, btw 😉

Drake — Laugh Now Cry Later feat. Lil Durk

This one is on high rotation in the studio right now. I’m not usually a big Drake fan but this track always makes me need to fist bump myself (need that in quarantine). Maybe the pinnacle of a 2020 sound but done with style.

Thundercat Them Changes

Just smooth af. I’m experimenting a bit in another project I’m working on called CASUAL and this tune is probably reflected more in that project. But the bassline — just love it soooo much. I’ll definitely be grabbing some flavours from this gem.
