Tomos recently released his debut single, “Surface Tension.”
The London-based producer is best known for his work as part of the producer duo Vanguard.
Drawing influence from styles like nu disco and nu jazz, his new project gives way to funky and smooth synth-centric instrumentation backed by club-influenced rhythm. It’s a project we are looking forward to hearing more from down the road.
Released last week on Majestic Casual, “Surface Tension” captures the early moments of attraction and indecisiveness between two people that recently met. It features a sultry vocal with a relaxed fender rhodes sounding keyboard arrangement and engaging production that will bode well for fans of Tom Misch, SG Lewis or Poolside.
