Newcomer, Emmit Fenn, premiered his second song titled “Blinded” on KCRW Radio this week. It is the follow-up to his debut track “Painting Greys,”which recently hit 10 million streams.
The Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter is a classically trained pianist turned producer. He uses live strings and draws inspiration from real life events to infuse them into his compositions.
“Blinded” is a sober downtempo vocal-centric song that discusses the need for change in life. The lead vocal line “I feel blinded by you, I don’t need this like I used to” repeats as stings, piano and heavily vocal process guild the listener through the slow recording. Stream below.
