In June, the producer and musician Ernest Greene put out his third full-length Washed Out album titled Mister Mellow.
Released on Stone Throw Records, the album is an easy listen from beginning to end. It is a matured adaptation of Washed Out’s take on “chillwave” music. It’s a synthesis of electronic elements in traditional indie rock.
Last week, the British producer, Lone, released a remix of the song “Hard to Say Goodbye,” one of the albums standout tracks.
Lone’s remix is both tasteful and super smooth. He effortless blends the melodic elements of electronic house with Washed Out’s alt rock inspired vocal. It’s a legendary mix.
