LA-based band WALLA recently released a remix for their new single “Golden Nights.”

It’s the work of Norwegian production duo Sparkx. I expect the production duo to continue buzzing across the blogosphere, as long as they keep releasing music.

Their remix of “Golden Nights” is quite the nu-disco jam. It features smooth funky bass, groovy galactic synths and a super catchy vocal from in the original (which you can listen to here). While primarily electronic, the song is clearly influenced by pop music and could even be considered indie-pop or indie dance music.

As a band, WALLA’s original music features notable similarities to established synth-pop electro acts like Friendly Fires, Fenech-Soler, and more.
