UPSAHL recently released her new single, “Drugs.”
After relocating from Phoenix, the Los Angeles-based artist signed to Arista Records last year.
On “Drugs,” UPSAHL delivers a polished tune showcasing her soulful pop vocal, electronic tendencies and a beat that will have your head bopping.
When asked about the meaning of the song, UPSAHL noted that “Drugs” isn’t meant to be literal. “The song is basically a fake conversation with someone who is acting like they’re the shit.” She added, “it’s me saying that I’m not here for the extra BS or the clout that people think is so important. I’m just here for the realness.”
UPSAHL is a real talent. Do not to sleep on this young and buzzing pop artist.
