Brooklyn-based indie rock duo TOLEDO just dropped the first single from their debut EP.
The song is titled “Hot Stuff,” and it’s a rich tapestry of saturated alt-rock that sort of sounds like Real Estate meets Beach Fossils. Picture warm interweaving guitar melodies and bass lines stringing the listener along as a nostalgic shoegaze vocals reminiscent of late-90s band Pedro The Lion carry the tune home.
As life-long friends, Dan Alvarez and Jordan Dunn have experimented with all types of sounds and have landed on something they can truly call their own. This one is refreshing and something special.
