Rising UK-band, The Modern Strangers recently released their new disco-influenced single “Magic Hour.”

On “Magic Hour,” the group showcases their euphoric falsetto vocal melodies, crisp indie-pop synthesizers, groovy guitar work, and smooth rhythm. Collectively, the instrumentation and melodies make for an impressive retro-influenced synth-rock single.

According to the group, they wrote the song in LA right after watching England play Columbia in the World Cup. The game ended in a shoot out and they took some of the adrenaline from the game into their Silverlake home studio.

The group recently finished their second UK tour and are beginning to buzz along with steady support from BBC Radio 1 in the UK.
