Today, Vancouver-based producer Sleepy Tom releases his new single “Move,” from his forthcoming EP The Times.
The song features impressive synth work, a funky bass line, a massive saxophone solo and a huge r&b pop vocal from Sophia Black.
The song marks a venture from Sleepy Tom’s previous work. As the rising producer puts it, “I started to feel confined to making strictly dance music…I wanted to explore pop song structures, more real instruments, more hooks – basically, to create a more accessible and intimate experience for people listening.”
“Move” is loaded with high-energy hooks and rhythmic grooves.
