Shadowgraphs is a neo-psychedelic band from Charlotte, NC. Their latest release “Countryside” (via Golden Brown) is Beatle-esque. “Countryside” sounds like a warm analog track on heavily saturated tape in the modern era. Like Paul McCartney meets Tame Impala meets Toro y Moi.
More specifically it’s a quick 2 1/2 minutes song featuring heavily panned vocals, atmospheric organs and some tasty guitar licks all of which whisk the listening into a retro sonic oasis.
