Rush Midnight is the solo project of ex-Twin Shadow member Russ Manning. Russ recently dropped his debut Self-Titled Rush Midnight album on Last Gang Records. Reminds me of listening to Toro Y Moi while dreaming on a summer day at the beach. Suggest starting with the track ‘Fix Me Up.’ Also worth checking out the music video for the single, ‘Closer,’ which includes a kickball game in the snow.
