Last week, Rhye release the Roosevelt Remix of “Summer Days” with an accompanying music video.
The remix builds on the already infectious groove of the original song that was released July 7 via Loma Vista Recordings. It’s a sun-drenched guitar and synth heavy reinterpretation that is both tasteful and potent.
Roosevelt has released a handful of noteworthy remixes over the last couple years, including an impressive full-length debut self-titled album at the end of 2016.
The visuals, for this specific release, were filmed in a photo booth at busy intersection in Berlin. With just a curtain for privacy, the location allowed participants to be who they want to be unabashedly, expressing silliness, sadness, intimacy and joy.
