Raindrop is a project formed by Sydney, Austrailia-based artist, Miles Devine.
He recently released his new single “Only Hope,” and it’s the first single of Raindrop’s forthcoming debut album, Mild Meltdowns.
The song is a psychedelic dive into the warm saturated lo-fi aspects of garage-rock. Think Mac DeMarco and The Flaming Lips meets The Supremes!
It is accompanied by the fittingly psychedelic video below. As described by Devine, it’s a “colorful look into the recording process of a Raindrop song. Presented as a fly on the wall type video you can now see the various ‘techniques’ employed to make their music.”
