Los Angeles based Pink Skies, is the psych-pop solo project from Arieh Berl. His sound is a genre-bending mix of psychedelic rock, pop, R&B, ’70s electronic, and chill-wave. “St. Tropez” comes ahead of the release of his debut album SPECTRA. Berl mentions that this song “feels like a glue for the whole album”.
The single features hypnotizing synths, psychedelic rhythm, and an overall chill melody that welcomes nostalgic memories. The track’s lyrics convey a message of vulnerability, as if you’re trying to run from a feeling you thought you’d had overcome.
His debut album SPECTRA is set to be released on June 12th.
