Finnish-producer and DJ, Perttu, recently released his new single “Stardust.”
The song is a melodic-house tune featuring horns, a bright synth line and lyrics from the vocalist Sam Shrieve.
Lyrically, the song is about how recognizing life is fragile and it is crucial to focus on the important things in life.
Production-wise, Perttu records a lot of the samples himself. He creates unique sounds by coming up with ideas like recording the noises made by his cocktail parrot. Ultimately, this technique lends to a more organic tone and adds harmonic values to his music.
