Led by Vahagni and Ryan Merchant (of Capital Cities), Paco Versailles is a project that elegantly blends Flamenco, Dance and Pop music and creates what they describe as ‘Dancemenco’.
Their single “Black and White” follows a care-free life journey from start to end. Along with their clever lyrics, the track features dreamy flamenco guitar chords, an upbeat dance rhythm, and just the right amount of Spanish folklore that makes it easy to get lost in the song.
Considering the duo’s level of musicianship and their innovative sound, it’s intriguing how their evolved genre ‘Dancemenco’ will translate into a live setting.
