Los Angeles-based duo, Lo Lytes, recently released their groovy debut tune, “Losing My Mind.”
“Losing My Mind” delves into the manic happiness that often accompanies long nights of partying. Parallel to reality, the single provides a glimmering, larger-than-life experience at first listen, with critical introspection looming just beneath the surface.
Singer Jameson Morris and producer/multi-instrumentalist Rockwell Sands met in 2014 through a mutual friend and began working together as songwriters. They then went on to form the duo and they’ve now released their debut track.
Musically, their new song sounds something like a Duke Dumont pop song. It features radio friendly vocals, subtle funk guitar, dreamy keys and a rockin’ bass line.
