Miami Alt-Pop party starters Magic City Hippies release their remix for Lemon City Trio’s psychedelic jazz track “16zz”.
Magic City Hippies’ bright chillwave sounds are instantly recognizable from the beginning of the track. It features edgy percussion, the lead guitar turned into an organ synth, and their take on the explosive psych-jazz chorus of the original song is slowed down and converted into Lo-Fi goodness.
The band envisions the instrumental track as a “psychedelic poolside indie-funk chiller, cocktail hour ready with a joint tucked behind the ear.”
