Last year, we released “Struggle Pt. 1” by KOWL on the Casablanca Sunset label. The original is an uplifting dance track that falls somewhere between indie dance and nu-disco. The song notably features excellent guitar work with a groovy saxophone and flute line.
Today we are releasing the Struggle Pt. 1 Remix EP, which features 5 remixes by 5 talented producers.
The Jimny remix is a chill, laid-back and slowed down interpretation of the original.
The Fake Money remix is a club-ready track that sounds like a super funky instrumental of a Daft Punk B-Side.
The Eddie House remix plays along with the Nu-Disco roots of the original and adds a deep house sounding bassline that flutters the track in a shuffling motion.
The Little Glass Men remix takes the listener on an epic saga of heartfelt strings, emotion and rhythm.
The Dr!ve track is less of a remix and sounds like a Chromeo cover with original vocals added by the talented producer.
