Delving deeper into his creative well, Jordan Rakei just released his full length album Cloak earlier this month. It’s a visionary journey through groove based soul, jazz and hip-hop with hints of psychedelia and afro percussive rhythms.

Since his feature on Disclosure‘s latest full-length ‘Caracal’ (on the track ‘Masterpiece’), and fruitful collaborations with Tom Misch (on the track ‘Wake Up This Day’), Barney Artist, Ta-ku, and more – Rakei has well and truly proved he is an artist to take seriously in his own right.

A wonderfully ambitious, immersive, diverse record, ‘Cloak’ encompasses aspects from a large selection of reference points – including acid-jazz, hip-hop, soul, and RnB, welding them together to create a timeless album, within which you’ll find something new to love upon every new listen.

Check out the fourth song on Cloak, “The Light.”
