The Los Angeles based record label Innovative Leisure consistently puts out good music. With a roster featuring Classixx, Allah-las, De Lux, Nosaj Thing and Rhye they are a well referenced name in the blogosphere. Set for release on Innovative Leisure in late July is the debut full-length record from Jim-E Stack, Tell Me I Belong. The Brooklyn-based artist born James Harmon Stack cut his musical teeth as a jazz drummer. Jim-E’s debut single Reassuring is worth a listen and was mentioned on Pitchfork as having “deft production skill.”
