The whole tropical indie dance thing is really catching on. With summer time just around the corner, it makes sense. This song by Duck House, Blue Hour, is housey, chill and vaguely similar to something you would hear in a late 80s/early 90s movie. Picture the convertible top down, the coastline breeze in you face and Robert Smith of the Cure playing on the radio. I guess what I am getting at is this song is nostalgic, yet happy and upbeat. At a glance that sounds conflicting but the melodic context of the song really holds everything together. Interesting approach to dance music.
