Last year, indie rockers Death Cab For Cutie released a new album Thank You for Today.
The first track from the album, “I Dreamt We Spoke Again” features Ben Gibbard’s signature vocal, warm synths and swooning guitar work.
LA-based producers Louis The Child recently flipped the song and turned it into an electro-pop banger. Their remix, released at the end of May, features uptempo rhythm, anthemic synth work and plays off Gibbard’s vocal from the original. By no means is this the best work from either group, but it makes for a pretty interesting collaboration and worth a listen.
