Last week, the Los Angeles-based duo, De Lux released the debut single off of their forthcoming LP, More Disco Songs About Love.
Similar to earlier releases, the single is funky, fresh and sounds like a disco-punk version of the Talking Heads.
When talking about the track the duo says, “‘875 Dollars’ is about the amount of rent Sean would have to pay to keep his childhood home if his parents decided to move. And split it with 3 other friends.”
More Disco Songs About Love marks the group’s third album as a band and is set for release in early 2018 via Innovative Leisure.
