Day Wave recently shared a lyric video for his new single “Starting Again.”
Comprised of singer/songwriter and producer Jackson Phillips, Day Wave is nostalgic dose of bedroom pop with an underlying beach rock influence.
His latest single “Starting Again,” features dreamy guitar work, lush synthesizers and warm thought provoking melodies aside a steady rhythm section.
When speaking on the song, Phillips notes “I wrote “Starting Again” in a time when I needed to get out of a creative and emotional rut. It’s about ridding yourself of people who convince you that you’re not good enough. Sometimes that person can be yourself, and it can be a struggle to start over with a new outlook. But I still try.”
